Maybe you’re very good at rationalising things and looking for the reasons behind everything.

And yet you find yourself meeting the same challenges, emotions or patterns over and over again.

And instead of tuning into your emotions, sensations or symptoms, you find yourself often just avoiding or trying to get rid of them.

And maybe deep within you already know there has to be another way.

What is included:

  • Simple somatic practices that you can integrate into your daily practice. You will experience how your body communicates with you and learn how to tune in with your body. This is a gateway into learning the unique language of your body.

  • 2,5 hour group container where you get to connect with like minded women and share your experience. This is a space where you are supported and welcomed just as you are: with all the different parts of you.

  • Practices to expand your capacity to be with your emotions and sensations. You will learn about different resources and why they are important in growing your capacity to be with sensations. You will experiment with your own resources so that you can continue to use them in your practice.

  • Action steps for the future: Map the next steps your own path back to connection and relearn to slowly trust your internal wisdom. Recognise what challenges you to connect your body and create your own practice.

  • In my approach I combine solution focused coaching into a somatic body based approach. Instead of just concentrating on the logical mind and the facts of the situation, we use sensations, emotions and internal stories as a gateway into the subconscious mind that resides in your body. We use the body as a portal into your innate wisdom. All of our experiences, behaviour patterns and emotions are stored into the body and going through the body allows us to process, change and release them. In a session this may show up for example as guided somatic grounding practice that helps you to learn how to recognise sensations in the body. With practice you can learn to listen to them with compassion and curiosity. This opens up a dialogue between you and all the different parts of your being increasing your self-awareness. You will learn how each state shows up in your body and how you can support your wellbeing with particular resources that work for you. In this way you can build resilience and enhance your capacity to live embodied. 

    Somatic approach is also an effective way to process trauma and change behaviour patterns that are no longer serving us.

  • No, you don’t have to have any previous experience or knowledge of somatic work. This workshop is a step towards you creating your a connection with yourself and learning the unique language of your body through somatic practices. I will also share practical tools with you that you can use at home to regulate and bring balance to your system.

  • If you feel the calling to join (e.g feeling of opening, lightness, trust or excitement in your body) while also experiencing doubt, fear or uncomfortable emotions, this is your body telling you that you are on the edge of your nervous system capacity. That is a place where growth happens and I encourage you to listen to the feelings of lightness, opening or trust in the body and join me on this journey so that you can learn to hold space for those parts of you who hesitate, doubt or feel fearful.
